Water Treatment Plant 7-19 update

Despite the continual rain throughout July, plant construction continues with the forming of the substructure foundation and the development of the treatment plant lagoons.

Construction for Greensand Filtration facility for Well No. 5 is progressing on time and schedule. The Contractor, Robert B. Our Co. of Harwich has completed clearing operations and project layout. The lower level concrete floor slab has been completed.  The Contractor is installing rebars and placing forms for concrete foundation walls and interior baffle walls for the below grade clearwell and backwash waste storage tanks.  Equipment shop drawings have been submitted, reviewed and approved so the Contractor can order the equipment.
