The Holliston Cultural Council is a local branch of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The Local Cultural Council (LCC) program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation supporting thousands of community-based projects associated with the arts, humanities and sciences annually. Each year the Holliston Cultural Council awards grants for programs benefitting town residents. The program promotes the availability of rich cultural experiences for every Holliston resident.

Based upon the highly successful response to our most recent Public Survey, we have established our priorities for this coming year to include artists who will provide family oriented entertainment, musical and vocal presentations, poetry, guest speakers, and classical music concerts.

We prefer to support local Holliston artists and local entertainment venues.

The Massachusetts Cultural Council has created a new online application process. Individuals interested in applying for grants from the Holliston Cultural Council can go to the website http://mass-culture.org/ , click on Applicants and follow the directions.

The Mass Cultural Council is a state agency that promotes excellence, inclusion, education, and diversity in the arts, humanities, and sciences to foster a rich cultural life for all Massachusetts residents and contributes to the vitality of our communities and economy.

The Council pursues this mission through a wide range of grants, initiatives, and advocacy for artists, communities, organizations, and schools.

The Holliston Cultural Council is one of 329 local councils that receives funding and guidance from the Mass Cultural Council.
