Traffic Advisory

Mission: The traffic advisory committee is to: hear resident petitions; conduct studies and collect traffic data; evaluate effectiveness of existing traffic regulation and infrastructure; collaborate with any and all related sub-committees to make recommendations on traffic calming, enforcement measures, and infrastructure to the Select Board; and advise the Select Board on traffic regulation decisions. Overview: Holliston is committed to adopting a Complete Streets policy and Vision Zero strategy for the benefit, health, and safety of all residents and visitors. To strengthen our community for a future of increasing multi-modal transportation it is critical to evaluate and improve existing traffic regulation, pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, and respond to the concerns of drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists alike. In all decisions this committee will adopt an approach that creates safe, healthy and equitable mobility for all.

The committee shall prepare and present semi-annual reports to the Select Board, with whom the authority remains to adopt, amend, alter and repeal all rules and regulations relative to vehicular traffic in Holliston.
