Regional Trails Creative Placemaking Worshop

Discover the power of Creative Placemaking at our 1 – day Regional Trails Creative Placemaking Workshop.  

Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) invites you to join us on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 9 am to 2 pm at Holliston Town Hall. Learn how to forge meaningful connections between trails and downtowns, fostering inclusive communities in Holliston as well as other communities in the MetroWest Region.  

The workshop is part of the Regional Trails Creative Placemaking Strategy project that Metropolitan Area Planning Council’s (MAPC’s) Arts & Culture and Transportation Departments are currently working on with the Minuteman Advisory Group on Interlocal Coordination (MAGIC) and MetroWest Regional Collaborative (MWRC) subregions, as well as with the Town of Acton and the Town of Holliston. 

Engage in insightful conversations and enjoy refreshments from 8.45 am. The workshop will provide participants with an in depth understanding of the process of creative placemaking, how it can used as a tool to build intuitive connections between trails and downtowns or commercial areas while fostering inclusivity in communities.  

Don’t miss the chance to learn how to build vibrant spaces in your community! Lunch will be provided at 12 pm. Free parking is available behind the Town Hall.
