The Town of Holliston and the Holliston Health Department do not have any control over the phasing of the vaccine distribution in the state. The priorities have been established by the Commonwealth, based on guidance from the CDC.

For more information about the vaccine distribution plan, see the state website.

Everyone in Phase 1 and individuals 75+ are currently eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Massachusetts. Additional locations will be added to the map of vaccination locations on the state website in the coming weeks. Appointments at mass vaccination sites such as Gillette Stadium and Fenway Park are released weekly on Thursdays. General vaccination sites in Hopkinton and Milford serving eligible populations are also scheduling appointments. The state has launched a Vaccine Scheduling Resource line to help residents 75 and older more easily schedule an appointment if they do not have internet or are unable to use the website. This line can be accessed by dialing 2-1-1 and selecting the prompt for “Help Scheduling a Vaccine Appointment.” The Holliston Senior Center has volunteers who can assist individuals 75+ with scheduling an appointment and identifying transportation needs. These local volunteers can be reached by calling 508-429-0622. Because vaccine supply is severely limited, you may need to wait several weeks to schedule an appointment.

Please continue to use risk mitigation strategies to lower the risk of disease spread, including staying home when sick, avoiding crowds, practicing physical distancing, using an approved face covering, and frequent hand washing. You will need to continue to observe these steps for the foreseeable future, even if you have received the vaccine.
