Public Notice: Community ChoicePower Supply Program

For your electricity supply needs, the Town is pleased to offer our Electric Aggregation Program. Officially called the Holliston Community Choice Power Supply Program, the Town has procured a low cost, 100% renewable source of electricity for you to consider as your Supplier. On your electric bill, the service is broken up into two parts– you have to pay the local utility (Eversource) for the Delivery component, but you have a choice in who to use as your Supplier. A state website, www.energyswitchma.gov, lists the Suppliers providing service in Town along with their rates and terms. A comparison shows the Town’s Aggregation Program provides:

  • great pricing at a 10.331 cents per kWh rate (73% lower compared to the basic rate currently offered by our local utility);
  • 100% renewable energy component (51% is the required amount);
  • long term sustainability (10.331 rate good through December 2023);

If your electric bill lists “NEXTERA ENGYSV MA-TOWN OF HOLLISTON” as your Supplier, you are already part of the Town’s Aggregation Program. If not and you would like to join the Town’s program, you can Opt-In OR oUT via: https://colonialpowergroup.com/holliston/
